Business Valuations Brisbane is the business valuation division of Asset Valuations Group, a family-run valuation practice. Every report is prepared and signed by a Certified Practising Valuer of the Australian Valuers Institute — accredited in business, property and asset valuation — and our lead valuer has 42 years in the industry and extensive experience as an expert witness.

Because the group values property, plant and equipment in-house, an asset-heavy business never needs a second firm — the asset schedule inside your business valuation is evidenced by a valuer, not lifted from a depreciation register.

The fee is fixed first

We quote in writing before starting, and the fee never depends on the value we conclude. A valuer paid more for a higher number is not a valuer.

One primary method, one cross-check

A single-method valuation is easy to attack. Every conclusion is tested by a second approach and any variance is explained in the report.

We are not brokers

We do not list businesses, take commissions or introduce buyers. We have no interest in the transaction happening or in the number being high.

Written for the reader

The report assumes an ATO officer, a credit team or an opposing expert will read it, and answers their questions before they are asked.

Where we work

Brisbane based, nationally registered

Our valuation office is at 4/144 Edward Street in the Brisbane CBD. Most engagements are completed without a site visit — financial records, contracts and asset registers travel electronically — but where the business owns significant plant, stock or property we attend in person.

Registrations in Queensland and Western Australia and directors covering Victoria and New South Wales mean a multi-state group can be valued by one firm under one engagement.
